Joe Forehand
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Accenture
Q: It seems like technology drove the economy for a few years before the economic downturn. Do you feel like the technology will once again provide economic prosperity in the future - or could it possibly be something else?

A: I am very positive about the future of information technology. In fact, our technology vision at Accenture identifies a whole new level of technology growth and proliferation as technology becomes deployed in every day objects. We believe we’re headed to a new era of technology that will go beyond transaction processing and embed technology in everything we do. It will transform the way companies do business, and frankly modern life.

President and Chairman, LAU Technologies
Q: As technology becomes more powerful, does it bring workers closer together?..Or does it have an alienating affect on workers? - Anonymous, Hong Kong

A: Both! We will spend more time interacting and sharing globally via technology. Human beings are social animals; we need our "group hugs" every now and then.

Chief Executive Officer, The Build-a-Bear Workshop
Q: In today's high tech world, what are the major things that hinder innovation? How do you continue to foster innovation? - Lisa Potter, Sprint

A: Time and timing is the biggest hindrance AND friend to innovation. Sometimes projects have a natural (slower) development schedule and business requires a faster turnaround. Or ideas develop and economics may not yet support the progress. Timing is everything!
